Our SITIERA_01 stool and side table embodies our commitment to conscious design, reflected not only in our relationship with artisans and suppliers but also in our use of noble materials. ANDEAN primarily utilizes thick, natural Ecuadorian leather, carefully selecting the finest cowhides for our furniture and home décor. The SITIERA_01 stool and side table represent an effort to maximize material use. Through this exploration, we created a tribute to the Condor, our national symbol, by incorporating feather-like leather accents. This design maintains the visual language of Ecuadorian iconography while adding animalistic elements to the anthropomorphized sculptural piece.

SITIERA is ANDEAN's second high-end residential furniture collection. Focused on seating and decorative mirrors, it is an exploration of the baroque and sacral archetypes that capture the essence of Quito's historic center art and architecture.
The designs explore the relationship between contemporary organic forms with baroque-inspired details. Depicting iconography and symbols present in the sculptures and altarpieces found in Quito's colonial-era churches, monasteries, and convents. The collection is a tribute to the significant role the Baroque School of Quito played in shaping our material heritage and culture.
ANDEAN studio’s practice is an exploration that highlights Ecuador's iconography and our Latin American essence. New items will be added to our ongoing collections every year, each bearing our equatorial design stamp and a distinct aesthetic.
