VALDIVIA is a sand-cast bronze sculptural object representative of the significance of religion within Latin American culture. It is an abstraction study; that combines the Virgin Mary with the Venus of Valdivia, representative of fertility and motherhood in the pre-Columbian communities of the Ecuadorian coast.
